Zoobic Safari: Best Zoo I've Ever Seen So Far

We went to Zoobic Safari this September 2015. We came from Baguio City so we departed around 3am then got there around 9am. We get our ticket at the reception at the parking area.

Address: Group I Ilanin Forest, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Philippines

You can check their regular rates at their Zoobic Entrance Rate Page.

Day Tour Entrance Rate:

Php 495    -     Adult

Php 395    -     Kids 4 ft. and below

Free          -     Kids 3 ft. and below

Open Daily from 8 AM to 4 PM

Here is a Great Tip:

You can buy cheaper tickets online. I tried buying at Metrodeal.com. You can have your entrance ticket for only Php248 per person. My 3 year old daughter is free of charge. They measure her with the railings in front of the ticketing booth.

You can see these stores at the parking area but there are lots of stores at the tiger encounter and Croco Loco.

As we enter the entrance, you can take pictures with these beautiful Aetas. Then the staff will stamp on your hand when you show your entrance ticket. You can see a map of the park.

First animal we saw is this Liger - Half Lion and Half Tiger. It is huge as lion. At first looks like a lioness but when we saw his stripes on his feet, you can distinguish him as a tiger also.

Don't forget to take a picture at the stage at the entrance.

I love their Comfort Rooms. It is clean and spacious. You can see different animal trivia from the doors.

From the sink, you can see different birds outside. It  is really a good view. Really is a nature view.

Beside the comfort room is the gift shop where you can buy lots of animal stuff toys, printed shirts, and many souvenirs and gift items. Then at the exit, there you can see the first attraction "Bird Walk". You can see different kinds of birds, some were in cages and some were in trees (you can even hold them). The best part is where you can feed the birds. They will give you bird foods and just hold them and they will eat them on your palm.

Next stop, you can find different land animals such as camels, horse, donkeys etc. You can also see apes, white lions, bear cats, and a lot more. You can feed the bear cat with bananas. There are staffs who will offer bananas for Php10.

Another attraction is the Serpentarium. Had no chance take a shot on different snakes and alligators as my daughter was really scared.

Here's the most exciting part for me and my family: The Tram. Looks like a train and it was fun.

First view is he Animal Care Clinic. People are not allowed to go down and check the clinic.

First stop is the Zoobic Cave. You can see preserved animal inside like deers, boards, rabbit, cow, and many land animals.

From the other side of the cave, you can see a ceiling filled with drawings of planets and outer space. Then you will pass to a hanging bridge, not high, where you can see a big crocodile under it. Then before the exit is a pond where you can see different red tilapia and koi fish.

As you come out from the cave, take a walk from the covered path they made going to the gift shop. It is where you will ride the jeepney going to the Zoobic Tiger Encounter. You must buy raw chicken meat for Php200 so tigers will approach your ride and eat the chicken bait. In a jeepney, we are 4 groups so we divided the fee and we just paid Php50. This is so exciting!

Next stop after the Tiger Encounter, we then went to the Close Encounter where you can see the tigers in their cage. Then back to tramp, we passed by the Nurzoory where you can find land animals fed by their staffs. We saw camels, goats, ostriches, boars and cows. The animals are free to roam around the place so tourists were not allowed to go down from the tramp.

And then last stop is the Croco Loco where we saw lots of crocodiles. You can feed them with raw chicken meat also. Just dangle the chicken tied in a bamboo pole and see how these crocodiles jump their way just to eat them. I feel sad for the other crocodiles, I saw they have wounds in their jaw and some really lost the peak of their mouth. Not sure but I think this is because of jumping and maybe hit on the metal railings.

At exact 10:30AM, We went to the Bird Show near the Park Entrance.Last part of the show is the snake. The show ended at 11AM.

Schedule of Shows (Weekends and Holidays)

Animal Shows: 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM
Animal Parade: 3:00 PM

Show schedule may change without prior notice

We just took the tour half of the day, after the bird show we proceed directly to their restaurant right next to the left side of the stage - The Safari Grill. Foods are great. They have air-conditioned room and fan room.

After lunch, we then went to the other near parks. We are happy to see Zoobic and we plan to come back again soon. As we drive our way to the other parks we saw a monkey from the side street begging for food. From the street signs, you must not feed the monkeys.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope this helped you in knowing more about the park before you visit.
